The only reason I chose defy pain was because Guild Wars was getting insanely boring, and I haven't used the majority of warrior elites. There are over 1,000 skills in this game, and most of us use barely any. If you want to have fun in low-end PvP, using a build you created that isn't total crap and is creative is going to be more fun than running the same build as everyone else.

Besides, it's not like these builds are horrible. They do big domoge like all warriors, with more armor, health, and damage reduction.

there r tons of ppl who run defy pain
i dun see how its bein creative? especialy when used wit a standard attack skill chain

teh only thing i play in ab is instagib or extreme kd/snare
denying them of a kill is one thing...
but rendering them utterly useless and helpless is even more fun

Oh right, I totally forgot the only reason why most warriors can kill others in low-end PvP is because they have elite attack skills. I mean like, the bars have a conjure and 3 attack skills, but that's nothing if there's no elite attack skill, right? ...Right?

I really fail to see how you think this has no damage. Please elaborate on that one.

More health you have means you can take much more hits and are eaier to stay alive.

Actually you'd be surprised at the idiots that will stand and try and kill a tank. Having a bunch of idiots be idiots is amusing, especially when you can kill them.

Would replacing Sun and Moon Slash with Power Strike not be a problem? This adds constant damage, especially if you got a zealous mod.

Need a fiery/shocking/icy weapon for conjure, which adds more damage than power attack. S&M is also a nice spike against low armor targets.

Yeah...

In AB, I've seen all sorts of idiots try to take down Defy Tanks; it's amusing. I usually just KD them and move on. Someone else can be an idiot, I don't have time for it, too busy capping and killing.

Did you hear my story of having a 1v1 versus a Defy Pain Warrior? 'Twas epic indeed, but the coward bot reinforcements and I was forced to retreat due to being outnumbered when I got him to half health.

Not saying your fight wasn't epic, Tyla. Just explaining my take on trying to drop a Defy Pain Warrior. I would rather just move on, because every time, half health their allies arrive. It's not worth my time.

Lourens, your idea would be great. Soothing Images = no more Defy = death on end of Defy if he has no healer.

I use the 2nd build in arkantos post [Ownage;OQYTgwoK5xnAViKMluhW5n8XBA] (1+1 axe on helm)Pretty unstoppable with this build unless theres a mob, and since most in ab are noobs should work.
